INVITATION TO BID

BASEBALL FIELD FENCING & BACKSTOPS

Silver Spring Township, a township of second class, is accepting bid applications from qualified firms to supply and install fencing and backstops at the Townships Stony Ridge Parks new Baseball Fields.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Stony Ridge Park, 50 Bernheisel Bridge Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total.  No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the bid opening.

Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder following the notice of intent to award and prior to execution of the AGREEMENT.

The Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, or irregularities, to any bid, accept any bid it may deem to be in the best interest of the Township, and to reject any or all bids.  The Township reserves the right to reduce or eliminate the quantity of work.

Sealed bids must be clearly labeled Baseball Field Fencing & Backstops" and submitted to the Township not later than 1:00 p.m. on Thursday,           February 2, 2012 at:
