The Zoning Hearing Board has the exclusive jurisdiction to hear and render decisions on variance requests, special exceptions and appeals to the interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance.

PLANNING COMMISSION
The Planning Commission makes recommendations to plan and guide growth so that development occurs in a manner as prescribed by the Township Comprehensive Land Use Plan.  In addition, the Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on all subdivision and land development plans, conditional use applications and rezoning requests.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COUNCIL
The EMC reviews land development and subdivision plans in regard to emergency access, approves locations of fire hydrants, reviews new street names,  and develops, upgrades and aids in the implementation of the Official Township Emergency Plan.
