The Township is seeking seasonal summer staff to assist with Summer Camp. Summer Camp staff should have experience working with children, a High School Diploma, some college-level training in education, recreation and/or a related field and a high degree of energy and enthusiasm.  Specialty skills in athletics, arts and crafts, drama, etc. are valuable commodities.  Summer Camp will require a ten week commitment. Minimum requirements: US Citizen, not less than 21 years old, no criminal record or convictions, current PA driver's license. Must have completed or be in ACT 120 training, must be of good moral character, must successfully pass the following: background investigation, physical fitness test, oral interviews, medical examination, psychological examination. Township, a suburban community of approximately 12,375 residents situated in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, is seeking applications for the position of Director of Parks and Recreation.  

Job responsibilities include: overseeing and coordinating the planning and development of park facilities, pursuing and investigating viable park and recreation grant opportunities, establishing and maintaining working relationships with volunteer and nonprofit organizations, preparing the department's annual budget, coordinating the organization, implementation, operation, and evaluation of recreation programs and their respective facilities, and overseeing the Supervisor of the Park Maintenance staff as well as being responsible for all work crews and contractors in all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the Parks and Recreation Department.
