Agricultural Security Area Committee Meeting - October 27, 2014

On October 27, 2014 at 5:30 pm the Silver Spring Townships Agricultural Security Area (ASA) Committee will be conducting a regular meeting for consideration of an ASA application. The meeting will be held at the Township office building located at 8 Flowers Drive, Mechanicsburg PA 17050.  If you are a person with a disability and wish to attend and require an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodations to participate in the meeting, please contact Jim Bennett, Planning and Zoning Manager at 591-9067 ext. 3507 to discuss how Silver Spring Township may best accommodate your needs.


Zoning Hearing Board - Monday, October 13, 2014

PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Silver Spring Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Township Municipal Building, 8 Flowers Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pa. 17050 to conduct a public hearing on and consider the following application:

Variance 2014-9  Trindle Run Center, LLC, 6455 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA. The applicant is requesting a variance to Section 313.3 Specific Sign Requirements to allow for up to three storefront wall signs on each use with less than 150 lineal feet storefront within the Planned Center; allow for a freestanding Planned Center Sign with a maximum area of 132.7 sf instead of the permitted 100 sf; and to allow for directional drive-thru signs with an area of 4.52 sf instead of the permitted 2 sf.

The above application has been submitted pursuant to Section 604 of the Silver Spring Township Zoning Ordinance. All interested parties are encouraged to attend this hearing.
