Vincent DiFilippo Nature Preserve - Former Silver Spring Golf Course
may 17-5_1This 54-acre preserve serves as a natural habitat with little signs of human presence. It is a culmination of individuals and committees working together to carry forth "one man's dream." The park is named after Vincent DiFilippo, Township Supervisor and resident, who initiated a grassroots effort to protect and preserve land here in Silver Spring Township. The park features a walking trail, access to the Conodoguinet Creek, and natural wildlife areas. This tract of land offers passive nature-based outdoor recreation activities.  The preserve enhances water quality, acting as filter for surface water, as it flows into the Conodoguinet Creek.
