Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 27th at Pleasant View Park (10:30
am). Please arrive by 10 am to pick up your goody bag and coupons. This event
is open to children 10 and under. The rain date is April 3rd. Candy and prizes!
5K Race & Kids Fit Run
Saturday, May 22nd at Stony Ridge Park. The 5K is
for those 12 and older and begins at 9 am. The free Kids Fit Run is for
children 11 and under and begins at 10 am. This event will be held rain or
shine.
Register by May 21st for $15 or on race day for
$20.
Concerts in the Park
Saturday, July 10th at Willow Mill Park. Bands will be announced at a later date. The concession stand will be open. The event begins at 5:30 pm and ends by 8:30 pm. Admission and parking is free. The event will be held rain or shine.
Annual Fall Festival
Saturday, October 2nd at Willow Mill Park from 10 am to 4 pm. Applications for vendors and entertainers are now being accepted! Please e-mail Kristy Owens if you would like to apply.
Tree Lighting
Wednesday, December 1st at the Township Municipal Complex. The event begins at 6:30 pm. Get your picture taken with Santa, enjoy the spectacle of lights around the Township Complex, snack on cookies and join us for hot cocoa and coffee. Children will enjoy various arts and crafts, while meeting new friends and singing carols around the tree. The lighting begins at 6:30pm. Ice carving will occur immediately following the lighting. This event is hosted by the Girl Scouts, Silver Spring Fire Company, New Kingstown Fire Company and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
